Mental Life

To enhance our mental life we must first learn good habits. Good habits include simple things like smiling regularly, practicing politeness, and controlling our tempers. Good habits also embrace more complex things like writing down goals, visualizing success, and staying focused. What does it mean to succeed? Some people see success as being rich and famous, others powerful and influential. True success is not measured by money or power, but reaching goals and feeling that we are proud of what we have accomplished. This means we determine our own success!

Spiritual Life

Spiritual Balance starts with our soul. The soul is by definition the immaterial essence of an individual life. So our faith, morals, and emotions make up our soul. What is faith? Faith is belief and trust in something you can’t see (e.g. God). We must have faith which makes us confident good things will happen. What are morals? Morals are standards of proper behavior. We must do what is right in our souls. What about emotions? An emotion is an intense feeling like passion.  Our passions
(deep feelings) convey our soul and the more we understand our faith, morals and emotions, the more spiritually balanced we will become.

Physical Life

Health and wellness is a product of a balanced physical life. We must take care of our bodies by practicing proper nutrition and exercise. Nutrition is eating to live, not living to eat. We have to drink plenty of water and balance our meals by eating the proper amounts of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Taste and flavor is important, but vitamins and nutrients can’t be sacrificed Exercise and flexibly give the body strength to withstand the test of time. Keeping your body toned and nourished balances your physique and keeps you healthy.
